Near the 1000m, DESERT ROSE (R Stewart) checked when racing to the inside of SIR NORTH. An Inquiry into this incident will be held at a date to be fixed.

Approaching the 1000m, ARCHER, which was racing keenly, had to be continually eased when racing tight between BE WITH YOU and SIR NORTH. Shortly after, MESSINA commenced to race keenly when racing up onto the heels of MOONLIGHT (S Sam).

Over the final 400m, HAPPY HORSE (S John) laid inwards obliging its rider to stop riding and straighten his mount on a couple of occasions.

In the straight, SIXTH AVENUE (App S Cheam) had a tendency to lay inwards placing its rider at a disadvantage.

 RACE 2:  RESTRICTED MAIDEN - 1200M

The race was rescheduled to start at 1420Hrs.

STAR FISH RIM must requalify in an Official Race Trial and veterinary examination prior to being entered to race again.

DYLAN (J Saimee), which was fractious in the barrier, must requalify in an Official Race Trial prior to being entered to race again.

DYLAN was slow to begin and raced wide throughout.

Between the 300m and the 200m, ZINKU (App T Affandi) was unable to obtain a clear run.

Near the 1000m, LUCA CHARM had to be steadied off the heels of CELESTIAL BLUE (R Stewart), which rolled outwards. Jockey Stewart was subsequently shown the film of the incident and warned to exercise greater care when shifting ground in future.

Jockey Saimee, when questioned regarding the run of DYLAN, stated that after being slightly slow away, he was caught wide in the early stages. He further stated that near the 1000m, he was able to obtain a position with cover. He further stated that when placed under pressure in the straight, it did respond. However, over the concluding stages, it had peaked on its run.
