 RACE 1:  CLASS 5, DIV 1 - 1800M (POLYTRACK)

CLERMONT CLUB (M Nunes) and ZAC BENEVOLENT (CW Brown) bumped on jumping.

MEGABUCKS (M Zaki) was slow into stride.

TONGARIRO (I Saifudin) raced keenly in the early stages.

Near the 1500m, GOLD CUSTOMER (A Da Silva) checked when racing to the inside of NOVA GLORY (R Shafiq). An Inquiry into this incident will be held at a date to be fixed.

After passing the 1500m, DASHING JACK (R Woodworth) checked when racing to the inside of GALLANT HEIGHTS (App T See) and ZAC BENEVOLENT. An Inquiry into this incident will be held at a date to be fixed.

GOLD CUSTOMER raced wide from the 1000m.

TONGARIRO raced wide from the 800m.

Making the turn into the straight, BLACK FRIDAY (K Fujii) laid outwards crowding GOLD CUSTOMER onto TONGARIRO. Shortly after, TONGARIRO and GOLD CUSTOMER made heavy contact, resulting in GOLD CUSTOMER having to be eased after shifting inwards and becoming awkwardly placed on the heels of BLACK FRIDAY.

A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on BLACK FRIDAY which revealed that the horse returned not striding out freely.

 RACE 2:  RESTRICTED MAIDEN - 1000M (POLYTRACK)

MISS WAIMATAITAI (M Nunes) jumped away awkwardly.

GOLDEN BOBO (D Beasley), which jumped away awkwardly, made contact with PENTAGON (S Sam) shortly after the start.

Shortly after passing the 800m, MR NO PROBLEM (App Z Zuriman) laid inwards away from ECLAIR MOMENT (M Kellady) and in so doing, brushed the hindquarters of GOLDEN BOBO.

PENTAGON hung inwards in the early part of the straight.

Jockey Beasley, when questioned regarding the disappointing performance of GOLDEN BOBO, stated that after beginning reasonably, GOLDEN BOBO showed its customary pace and he had managed to obtain a position just behind the leader. Whilst it had travelled well in the early and middle stages, it failed to respond to his riding from the 600m and disappointed thereafter. His explanation was noted. GOLDEN BOBO was impounded for routine veterinary and analytical examination. The Veterinary Surgeon reported that the horse returned not striding out freely and exhibited signs of respiratory distress after the race. GOLDEN BOBO will be required to pass a 1000m gallop trial from the barrier and a veterinary examination prior to being declared to race again.

 RACE 3:  CLASS 4 - 1600M

After arriving at the barrier, CERTAINLY (D David) had its saddle readjusted.

HIGHER SOUL (K A’Isisuhairi) lost ground after beginning awkwardly.

MASTER BANGER (App WS Chan) jumped awkwardly outwards and bumped KINGS RYKER (D Beasley) out onto PUSAKA (App I Amirul), which in turn made contact with KNIGHT SPIRIT (TH Koh).

SILENT ARROW (App CC Wong) proved difficult to settle in the early stages.

After passing the 1000m, ROYAL EASTER (A Munro) shifted outwards and bumped SILENT ARROW. ROYAL EASTER then shifted inwards and bumped CERTAINLY.

SILENT ARROW raced wide throughout.

HIGHER SOUL laid inwards in the straight.

KINGS RYKER had difficulty obtaining a clear run between the 400m and the 250m.

Subsequent veterinary examinations were requested on both LAKE HUKA (CW Brown) and ROYAL EASTER which revealed no apparent abnormality.

 RACE 4:  INITIATION - 1600M

GOLAZO (K A’Isisuhairi) jumped awkwardly outwards and bumped the hindquarters of GOLD RESERVE (K Fujii), resulting in GOLAZO becoming unbalanced and shifting inwards abruptly.

Shortly after the start, SUCCESSION (A Munro), which had been marginally slow to begin, was inconvenienced by PUSONG PINOY (V Duric), which shifted outwards abruptly after being brushed by SPUR ME ON (M Nunes).

GOLAZO proved difficult to settle in the early stages.

Near the 1200m, EASY DRAGON (App K Toh), which was racing keenly, had to be eased after becoming awkwardly placed on the heels of CHARLIE CAME ALONG (E Chaves).

Approaching the 800m, GOLAZO, which continued to prove difficult to settle, checked off the heels of EASY DRAGON.

Near the 500m, EASY DRAGON steadied when momentarily crowded by CHARLIE CAME ALONG, which rolled inwards.

CHARLIE CAME ALONG, which raced poorly, will be required to pass a 1000m gallop trial and veterinary examination prior to being declared to race again.

A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on EASY DRAGON which revealed that the horse returned not striding out freely.

 RACE 5:  CLASS 5, DIV 2 - 1100M (POLYTRACK)

App T See, the rider of DRAGON GOLD, failed to claim and ride at his declared riding weight. An Inquiry into this matter will be held at a date to be fixed.

 

DASHING (B Vorster) was slow to begin after jumping away awkwardly.

MR DE NIRO (App CC Wong) jumped outwards at the start making contact with JACK OF HEARTS (R Woodworth).

GENUINE BARGAIN (App MM Firdaus) and CAPTAIN CLASSIQUE (R Shafiq) bumped heavily on jumping.

BALESTRA (App K Toh) and LOYALTY’S ANGEL (App M Khalid) bumped on jumping. LOYALTY’S ANGEL then shifted outwards bumping RIO DE JANEIRO (V Duric) out onto WESTERN BOSS (App I Amirul).

DRAGON GOLD raced wide throughout.

Making the turn into the straight, BALESTRA shifted outwards carrying LOYALTY’S ANGEL out onto DRAGON GOLD.

Near the 150m, DRAGON KING (D Beasley) had to be steadied momentarily after being inconvenienced when BALESTRA shifted inwards under pressure.

A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on DRAGON KING which revealed that the horse returned not striding out freely.

 RACE 6:  INITIATION - 1200M

FITZROY (CW Brown), which was restless in the barrier, was slow to begin after jumping away extremely awkwardly.

SPECIAL FORCE (R Woodworth), which jumped away awkwardly, made contact shortly after the start with SHAQRAA (M Nunes).

STREET TAIPAN (A Munro) and LIM’S SAMURAI (D Beasley) bumped heavily on jumping.

WHAT IFF (V Duric) and BORN A FIGHTER (B Vorster) bumped on jumping.

MR JACKSON (E Chaves) raced greenly for a short distance passing the 1000m.

WHAT IFF and LIM’S SAMURAI both raced wide throughout.

Approaching the 800m, SPECIAL FORCE, which was racing keenly, carried STREET TAIPAN out wider when taken outwards away from the heels of MR JACKSON, which had been carried outwards slightly by VRAAD (R Shafiq).

SPECIAL FORCE had a tendency to lay inwards in the straight.

Near the 150m, LIM’S SAMURAI laid outwards under pressure carrying SPECIAL FORCE slightly wider on the track.

Jockey Woodworth, the rider of SPECIAL FORCE, was warned in regards of his whip use in the vicinity of the shoulder of his mount near the 100m.

The Farrier reported that SHAQRAA returned having cast its near-fore and off-hind plates.

Jockey Duric reported that WHAT IFF was making respiratory noises. A subsequent veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormality.

A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on SWINGLOWSWEETJACKY (M Kellady) which revealed no apparent abnormality.

 RACE 7:  CLASS 5, DIV 2 - 1800M (POLYTRACK)

GRAND PARIS (I Saifudin) jumped awkwardly inwards and made contact with JOHNNY HATES JAZZ (M Zaki).

PINYIN (S Sam) jumped awkwardly inwards and bumped URBAN LEGEND (App Z Zuriman).

Shortly after the start, NOVEMBER SUCCESS (R Woodworth) and PEREGRINE FALCON (App T See) bumped. At the same time, SPEED CRAFT (M Nunes) was crowded for room between URBAN LEGEND and RAINBOW WARRIOR (V Duric), which rolled outwards.

PINYIN, which raced wide throughout, raced keenly in the early stages.

SPEED CRAFT had a tendency to lay inwards over the concluding stages.

Subsequent veterinary examinations were requested on both PINYIN and URBAN LEGEND which revealed no apparent abnormality.

 RACE 8:  CLASS 5, DIV 1 - 1100M (POLYTRACK)

DRAGON RUBY (App T See) and HEE’S EGO (M Nunes) both began awkwardly.

FLYING MISSION (S Anandan), which dipped on jumping, shifted outwards making contact with ALWAYS AHEAD (TH Koh).

Shortly after passing the 800m, HEE’S EGO lost ground when crowded between ALWAYS AHEAD and BAIL OUT (S John), which rolled inwards.

MILLION ROUND (I Saifudin), which raced wide throughout, hung outwards making the turn near the 800m.

ELEGENT (E Aslam), which raced wide, laid outwards near the 800m.

HEE’S EGO raced wide from the 800m.

Shortly after passing the 400m, HEE’S EGO and ALWAYS AHEAD made contact.

Passing the 150m, HEE’S EGO momentarily steadied when racing tight between ALWAYS AHEAD and ANGRY CAT (O Chavez), which rolled inwards.

App M Khalid reported that DOUBLE CASH was not striding out freely.  A subsequent veterinary examination confirmed this.

A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on HEE’S EGO which revealed no apparent abnormality.

 RACE 9:  BENCHMARK 89 - 1200M

Shortly after the start, GHOST (D David), RAISE NO DOUBT (V Duric), GOLDEN SAND STEED (App R Zawari) and FLAK JACKET (D Beasley), were all crowded for racing room between SPANISH BAY (E Chaves), which shifted inwards slightly and SEBAS (App K Toh), which shifted outwards after jumping away awkwardly. As a result of the crowding, GOLDEN SAND STEED had to be checked.

 

Shortly after passing the 1000m, VON KRUMM (M Kellady) and THE GENERAL (B Vorster) both checked when racing to the inside of SEBAS and SOUTHERN BOSS (App T See). An Inquiry into this incident will be held at a date to be fixed. GHOST, FLAK JACKET and LIM’S RALLY (K A’Isisuhairi), which were following, were all inconvenienced to various degrees.

The Farrier reported that GOLDEN SAND STEED returned having cast its near-fore plate.

A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on THE GENERAL which revealed no apparent abnormality.

All riders returned to scale an average of 1kg overweight due to the weather conditions.

 RACE 10:  KRANJI STAKES D - 1700M (POLYTRACK)

GLORIOUS PROSPECT (M Nunes) lost ground after beginning awkwardly.

GOLD LINE (CW Brown) jumped awkwardly outwards and made contact with SINGSURAT (App MM Firdaus).

SCHILTRON (D David) was slow into stride.

Approaching the 1400m, GLORIOUS PROSPECT attempted to improve into a tight run to the outside of GOLD LINE and to the inside of HONGCHEN (App Z Zuriman). Shortly after, HONGCHEN rolled inwards slightly and at the same time, GOLD LINE steadied. This resulted in GLORIOUS PROSPECT being crowded and having to be eased, thereby losing ground.

GLORIOUS PROSPECT raced wide from the 1000m.

VERGLATICA (K A’Isisuhairi) and HUMOR TOWN (S John) made the turn into the straight wide.

Approaching the 300m, HONGCHEN was momentarily inconvenienced when GLORIOUS PROSPECT shifted outwards under pressure.

Approaching the 200m, Jockey John, the rider of HUMOR TOWN, dropped his off-side rein which he regained shortly thereafter.

 RACE 11:  CLASS 4 - 1400M

BAHANA (App I Amirul) and EN CIVIL (R Shafiq) bumped on jumping.

CORDOBA (A Munro) raced wide throughout.

A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on ELUSIVE EMPEROR (B Vorster) which revealed no apparent abnormality.
