 RACE 1:  CLASS 5 - 1200M

DANCING QUEEN (App M Ewe), STILL WATER (S John) and SIXTH AVENUE (E Legrix) bumped on jumping.

Shortly after the start, MIGHTY RAJAH (App T Affandi) and SIR NORTH (D Beasley) were both crowded between SILVER ARROW (App HK Cheng) and RIGHTHERERIGHTNOW (App M Airy), which jumped inwards.

RIGHTHERERIGHTNOW was inclined to hang inwards throughout.

In the straight, FIFTH AVENUE (App S Cheam) hung inwards placing its rider at a disadvantage.

Approaching the 300m, SILVER ARROW was disappointed for a run between FIFTH AVENUE, which laid inwards and TRINITY TREASURE (Din Azis), which laid outwards.

 RACE 2:  RESTRICTED MAIDEN - 1200M

CONTROL MAN (App M Airy), which was difficult to be loaded and caused some delay, will be required to pass one starting stall test prior to being entered to race again in terms of MRA Rule 78(2).

HI JACK (B Vorster), which was fractious in the barrier, was taken out, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon and passed fit to race. HI JACK, which then proved difficult to be reloaded, will be required to pass one starting stall test prior to being entered to race again in terms of MRA Rule 78(2).

STAR FISH RIM (Din Azis) began awkwardly and shifted outwards abruptly.

SOUTH STAR (App M Zaki) was slow to begin.

Shortly after the start, XENOLITH GOLD (App M Ewe) checked when racing to the inside of HEY TORO (N Callow). An Inquiry into this incident will be held at a date to be fixed.

MAGIC KEY (D Beasley) was obliged to race wide throughout.

Over the concluding stages, TWELFTH AVENUE (J Powell) had to be momentarily steadied off the heels of HI JACK, which shifted outwards.

XENOLITH GOLD hung inwards in the straight.

The Farrier reported that CONTROL MAN returned having cast its near-fore plate.

Jockey A Fiezan, the rider of DARING AMBITION, reported that his horse was not striding out freely. A subsequent veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormality.

 RACE 3:  CLASS 4, DIV 2 - 1200M

PIERCING (Din Azis), which was fractious in the barrier, was taken out and examined by the Veterinary surgeon. Acting on veterinary advice that it was found to have sore back, the Race Meeting Stewards ordered its withdrawal at 1448Hrs. PIERCING will be required to pass a 1000m gallop trial from the barrier and a veterinary examination prior to being entered to race again.

SUPER RACER (Alan Ng) began awkwardly and lost ground.

SMART LEADER (App M Zaki) was slow to begin.

Near the 800m, SUPER RACER, which was overracing, steadied when awkwardly placed on the heels of MISSION IMPOSSIBLE (E Legrix).

MSIXTEEN (App S Cheam) was unable to obtain a clear run between the 450m and the 200m.

Near the 300m, SKY CARRIER (R Fradd), which was held up, had to be taken outwards to obtain clear running.

ROYAL CITY (R Stewart) was obliged to race wide throughout.

WEALTH SECTOR (App J Farook), which raced poorly, will be required to pass a 1000m gallop trial and veterinary examination prior to being entered to race again.

 RACE 4:  INITIATION - 1200M

LIM’S ADVENTURE (D Beasley), which was fractious behind the barrier, reared and dislodged its rider, was examined by the Veterinary Surgeon and passed fit to race. LIM’S ADVENTURE, which was then difficult to be loaded and caused some delay, will be required to pass one starting stall test prior to being entered to race again in terms of MRA Rule 78(2).

WAHOO (S Sam), which was difficult to be loaded, will be required to pass one starting stall test prior to being entered to race again in terms of MRA Rule 78(2).

BLUE FLAG (App M Ewe) was slow to begin.

WAHOO was buffeted on jumping between VAL ANGEL (J Saimee) and SIR ED (S John), which jumped inwards.

VAL ALGEO (N Callow) was crowded on jumping between MOUNTAIN RAIDER (Din Azis), which jumped outwards and LIM’S ADVENTURE, which jumped inwards.

Shortly after the start, LIM’S ADVENTURE was bumped and crowded to the inside of VAL ANGEL, which in turn had been taken inwards by WAHOO and SIR ED.

BLUE FLAG was difficult to settle in the backstraight.

Passing the 800m, LIM’S ADVENTURE steadied off the heels of VAL ALGEO when racing keenly.

RIGHT CLICK (G De Souza) was obliged to race wide throughout.

Approaching the 300m, LIM’S ADVENTURE, when angling for a run, made contact with VAL ANGEL on a couple of occasions. Jockey Beasley was subsequently shown the film of the incident and warned to exercise greater care when shifting ground in future.

The Farrier reported that WORLD STRONGMAN (App KK Ng) returned having cast its off-fore plate.

 RACE 5:  CLASS 4, DIV 2 - 1400M

COURAGEOUS HORSE (J Saimee) was slow to begin.

DUMAR (R Fradd) was hampered on jumping between BARCELONA (R Stewart) and ANDREW’S GOLD (App KK Ng), which in turn had been carried outwards by AUGUST MOON (B Vorster).

Approaching the 300m, JERAM FUTURE (Din Azis), which was held up on the heels of BARCELONA, had to be taken inwards for a clear run.

ROYAL KAZAK (D Beasley) was impounded for routine veterinary and analytical examination. The Veterinary Surgeon reported no apparent abnormality.

 RACE 6:  CLASS 5 - 1600M

BENGAWAN (B Vorster), which was fractious, broke through the front of its barrier and galloped riderless for some distance before being captured. BENGAWAN was withdrawn by order of the Race Meeting Stewards at 1616Hr. BENGAWAN will be required to pass one starting stall test prior to being entered to race again in terms of MRA Rule 78(2).

STRIVING HEART (M Gallagher) was difficult to settle in the backstraight.

TEXTER (App KK Ng) was obliged to race wide throughout.

In the straight, TEXTER was inclined to lay inwards obliging its rider to stop riding and straighten his mount on a number of occasions.

In the straight, ACE ANTONIO (Din Azis) hung inwards placing its rider at a disadvantage.

The Farrier reported that JERAM SINMA (App S Cheam) returned having cast its near-fore plate.

Jockey Alan Ng, the rider of KISMET, reported that his horse was not striding out freely. A subsequent veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormality.

SKY AIRWAYS (R Fradd) was impounded for routine veterinary and analytical examination. The Veterinary Surgeon reported no apparent abnormality.

 RACE 7:  CLASS 4, DIV 1 - 1200M

SILENCE TOUCH (S John) was slow to begin.

Near the 900m, ACE AIRWAYS (M Kway) and WORLD TOP (App KK Ng) both commenced to race keenly.

Approaching the 400m, WORLD TOP checked when racing between SILENCE TOUCH and ACE AIRWAYS. An Inquiry into this incident will be held at a date to be fixed.

The Farrier reported that KINGTRAP (App M Ewe) returned having cast its near-fore plate.

PRINCE GOLDHEART (J Saimee) was impounded for routine veterinary and analytical examination. The Veterinary Surgeon reported no apparent abnormality.

 RACE 8:  OPEN - 1200M

Enroute to the barrier, DIAMOND DUST (S Sam) dislodged its rider and galloped riderless for some distance before being captured. Jockey Sam was subsequently examined by the Course Medical Officer and was declared unfit to ride. As a result, DIAMOND DUST was withdrawn by order of the Race Meeting Stewards at 1717Hrs.

Approaching the 800m, LIM’S OBJECTIVE (A Fiezan) steadied when momentarily crowded to the inside of ACE AND ACES (J Saimee).

AMADEUS MOZART (B Vorster) was obliged to race wide throughout.

SAGITTARIUS (App S Cheam) laid inwards in the straight placing its rider at a disadvantage.

Jockey Fiezan, the rider of LIM’S OBJECTIVE, was fined S$1,000 for making a celebratory gesture prior to the Finish in terms of MRA Rule 44(10).

A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on AMADEUS MOZART which revealed no apparent abnormality.

 RACE 9:  CLASS 3 - 1200M

Acting on veterinary advice that CHANCELLOR (App J Low) was found to be lame off-fore, the Race Meeting Stewards ordered its withdrawal at 1727Hrs. In terms of MRA Regulation 24.2, it must be presented to an Official Veterinary Surgeon prior to being declared to race again.

BEST WEAPON (J Powell), which began awkwardly, was then crowded between LUCKY SUN (Din Azis) and LIM’S HERO (N Callow).

BEAU BRUMMELL (M Gallagher) laid inwards over the final 200m.

A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on BRITTANY BROOKE (M Kway) which revealed no apparent abnormality. BRITTANY BROOKE, which raced poorly, will be required to pass a 1000m gallop trial and veterinary examination prior to being entered to race again.

LIM’S HERO was impounded for routine veterinary and analytical examination. The Veterinary Surgeon reported no apparent abnormality.

 RACE 10:  PROGRESS - 1600M

PROMISE ME GOLD (App T Affandi) jumped away awkwardly.

PIN NUMBER (J Powell) was held up and unable to improve between the 400m and the 300m.

Passing the 200m, SCHMEICHEL (R Fradd) had to be momentarily steadied when racing to the inside of EXCHEQUER (A Fiezan).

App Affandi will be questioned regarding his riding of PROMISE ME GOLD.

 RACE 11:  CLASS 4, DIV 1 - 1400M

STORM CHASER (A Fiezan) began awkwardly and lost ground.

KING FURY (J Saimee), SWIFT STRIKE (App KK Ng) and DAN NOBLE (J Powell) bumped on jumping.

Shortly after the start, GET’EM GET’EM (M Gallagher) checked when crowded between VICTORY STAR (E Aslam) and STARRY FIRE (App M Zaki), which was carried outwards slightly by CARRY ON VICTORY (Din Azis).

Passing the 900m, KING FURY eased when momentarily crowded between SWIFT STRIKE and UP TO YOU (App J Low).

LUMINOUS DRAGON (Alan Ng) was obliged to race wide throughout.
