Darc Bounty back in the hunt

DARC BOUNTY cruises to an easy comeback win - SNTC photo

In the first half of last year, DARC BOUNTY hit a bright patch winning four times in five starts. But the Darci Brahma gelding failed to take it from there and had to wait for 17 more months before finding the mark again.

Ridden by Glen Boss, DARC BOUNTY showed his rivals a clean pair of heels, leading from start-to-finish in the Kranji Stakes B event over 1000m on the polytrack at Kranji here tonight.

Purchased for NZ$100,000 as a yearling, DARC BOUNTY has now five wins and five placings in 19 starts.

Meanwhile, another rising star has emerged. REVOLUTUON came from behind to snatch a narrow win in a Kranji Stakes C 1200m sprint to make it three wins and two seconds in six starts.

REVOLUTION was purchased by his owners for NZ$150,000 at the Ready To Run sale.
