Tilsworth Frankie gets early win

KUALA LUMPUR: Apr 9, 2016

Narrowly beaten in his debut last month, TILSWORTH FRANKIE made no mistake in his second outing when he cruised to victory in the Novice - 1200m event at Sungei Besi here today.

With a change of rider to Jackson Low, the English four-year-old was racing well up with the pace early before romping home by two lengths ahead of HAPPY EDDINGTON, with the odds-on favourite GOODFELLAS in third place.

Jose de Souza and Ruzaini Supien shared riding honours with a double each. The former brought his tally for the season to 21 with wins on RISE UP THE RANK and LECTERN.

Ruzaini booted home a double astride TWIST OLIVER and TIDAL WAVE.

Rookie apprentice Zaimuddin, who landed his maiden win on COMONBABY last month, was on target again with the Australian gelding.
