Felarof battles to consecutive wins

Danny Beasley and Vlad Duric, both highly successful in Singapore in the past but now riding on short-term permits, are making their stay count with every week.

Beasley, who began a five-month stay at the beginning of February, brought his tally to 12 with a double astride MARINE TREASURE and FELAROF.

MARINE TREASURE made it back-to-back wins despite coming back after a five-month layoff. It's now two wins and three placings in six starts for the Australian gelding.

FELAROF defied a promotion to make it a winning double in the evening's main event, the Class 3 - 1400m handicap, creating an upset with a $148 payout.

It was his fourth win in 19 starts in Singapore, adding to his record of one win and one placing from five runs as a juvenile in Australia.

Duric, who began his stint three weeks ago, made it three wins in five racing days by taking the opening event on maiden winner CHIPS. He will be in Singapore until the end of the month.
