First double for trainer Ismadi

After saddling his first winner (K-POP) on May 17 some four months after making his debut, it has taken jockey-turned-trainer Ismadi Ismail another three and a half months to land his second when BELWINS outclassed his rivals in a Class 5 - 1000m sprint here today.

Then aided by his son Amirul Ismadi, the father-and-son team completed a double with another runaway winner RUMPELSTILTSKIN, giving Amirul a perfect two-for-two for the afternoon.

BELWINS stepped up on two good recent placings to win by six and a half lengths in the Class 5 - 1000m sprint. It was his seventh win in 50 starts but first for Ismadi.

RUMPELSTILTSKIN also had it easy, winning by four lengths for just his second success in 34 starts.
