Peter Dillon returns home early

SINGAPORE,  25 May 2006
South African jockey Peter Dillon has relinquished his licence and returned home citing "personal reasons".

Dillon was granted a six-month freelance licence by the Singapore Turf Club effective April after riding with great success in Dubai and Kuwait.

In Dubai, he won two Listed races including the Emirates Sky Cargo Trophy on BALDAQUIN. In Kuwait, he achieved a 50% strike rate, winning 11 of 22 rides.

But success eluded him at Kranji where his best efforts were two seconds in 30 rides.
