Exaggerate wins Jumbo Jet Trophy

SINGAPORE,  28 August 2004

EXAGGERATE
The connections of EXAGGERATE caused a surprise early this week when they decided not to nominate him to defend the Queen Elizabeth II Cup to be run tomorrow.

EXAGGERATE (6 b.nz.g Zabeel - Enhancer by Red Tempo) easily won the Cup last year after a splendid second in the Singapore Derby.

Instead they entered him for the S$125,000 Jumbo Jet Trophy over 1,400m and the gelding, ridden by Jason Patton, vindicated their decision when he just lasted to beat TITAN SMILE in the Singapore Group 2 event.

NINETYFIVE EMPEROR, who has yet to regain his best form, was a well-beaten third.
